Arrowtown House

Pete and Bronwen’s aim (in accordance with Arrowtown’s design guidelines aimed at protecting the unique character of the village) was to make the already small house appear even smaller by making it resemble a collection of sheds, an interconnected arrangement of three weatherboard-clad forms that step gradually down its westward-leaning slope.

Western Red Cedar Weatherboards:

Traditional and extremely versatile Bevel Back Weatherboards combine stability, durability, and contemporary style that defines today’s urban landscape. Strong shadow lines further enhance the usability of this classic range, which offers enduring style, and prestige that comply with sound design and build principles.
