Point Wells Home
This barn-style form is a contemporary take on a classic style. Built for family living, the home balances separation of spaces with a strong indoor-outdoor connection and considered material selections.
The exterior vertical shiplap cladding in MicroPro® treated Radiata Pine is an understated but refined expression. Coated in JSC Coda Caliaby, this gives the timber a soft, muted white toned finish that beautifully complements the timbers natural colour. Together, the profile and finish create a cohesive modern looking exterior.
Internally, the aesthetic draws on Scandinavian industrial influences. Polished concrete floors, black joinery, brushed nickel hardware, and walnut cabinetry are balanced by crisp white walls and large-format grey travertine tiles. Scissor trusses through the main living areas add volume, giving the home a sense of openness while maintaining a warm, grounded feel.
The result is a home that balances presence and practicality.
