American White Oak

A distinct and timeless solution for unique interiors

American White Oak is a prolific species native to the Eastern United States, growing in rich well-drained soil. A dense, solid hardwood, this timber is a beautiful and versatile solution for interior applications.

With high resistance to abrasion and wear, White Oak is a high-quality timber commonly used in flooring, panelling, cabinetry, and furniture making. With a beautiful natural grain, and considerably less knotty than European Oak, American White Oak is worked easily in both hand and machine tools, produces an excellent finish, and takes coatings and stains well.
