A beautiful and great-value hardwood decking timber

Garapa is a dense, naturally durable hardwood, ideally suited for exterior decking. Able to be finished to a smooth, fine finish, Garapa has a naturally durable surface with reduced tendency to splinter or move. 

JSC Premium Garapa is FSC® certified and sourced from sustainably harvested forests in South America. The light colouring and fine grain provide a beautiful but hardworking alternative to more expensive hardwoods and is well suited to decks exposed to the New Zealand climate. JSC Premium Garapa typically has longer-length spreads, making installation both quicker and easier.
