A first-cousin to the New Zealand evergreen Pūriri (Vitex Lucens), Vitex is a durable hardwood, with proven performance in both commercial and residential exterior applications. Its consistent pale-yellow and creamy-grey colour, combined with a fine, even grain, makes it highly appealing, particularly in Vitex decking applications. Vitex has minimal bleeding of tannins, making it much less likely to stain concrete and other hard surfaces compared to other hardwood products.
