Clevedon's Signature Showhome

Signature Homes' newest showhome on Kakano Street brings a warm, contemporary approach to family living in Clevedon Meadows. Delivered by the Signature Homes Botany & Manukau team, the single-level home blends a mixed-material exterior with bright, open living spaces. Balancing clean architectural lines with a softer, more natural material palette.

The exterior pairs white-washed brick, a steel roof, and vertical timber cladding to create contrast and depth across the façade. The timber introduces warmth and tactility against the cooler masonry elements, helping the home integrate into its semi-rural surroundings.

For the vertical shiplap cladding, the team specified  TMT Amba, in a TMT55 profile, finished in JSC Coda® Caliaby.

TMT Amba was a strong fit for the design intent. As the lighter, clearer-grade option within the JSC TMT® range, it features warm golden-brown tones, natural tonal variation, and a predominantly straight grain appearance suited to a refined architectural aesthetic.

The JSC Coda® Caliaby coating softens and enhances the natural tones of the timber, complementing the white-washed brickwork and muted exterior palette.

The TMT55 VertiClad profile reinforces the home’s clean lines while adding rhythm and texture to the façade. Its vertical orientation also reflects the cathedral ceilings within the interior spaces, helping create a stronger connection between the exterior and interior design.

TMT Amba was also carried through into the interior spaces as feature panelling, finished in a single coat of JSC Coda® Caliaby. The lighter coating application allows more of the timber’s natural warmth to come through internally, creating a softer, warmer material palette and a beautiful connection between the interior and exterior spaces.
