Palliser Downs Showhome, Wainui, Auckland

The Palliser Downs showhome by Signature Homes Rodney and North Shore, is situated on a 3.29-acre block above the rolling hills of Wainui. Developed in partnership with Foundry Group, the home is built around a series of gabled forms with a bold exterior timber palette that carries through to its interior spaces.

TMT Taxon® wraps the exterior in a vertical shiplap profile finished in Coda® Maple, with Western Red Cedar along the fascia and soffits adding tonal contrast at the roofline. Inside, the TMT Taxon continues as feature interior panelling finished in Coda® Caliaby, appearing across the gable wall of the main living area and into the primary bedroom.

Using the same species inside and out creates a material thread through the home, with the shift in finish doing the work of differentiating each space.
